After receiving my BA in English from Northeastern University (2013) and MA in Cultural & Creative Industries from King’s College London (2014), I spent several years writing, editing and creatively concepting for brands across the UK, USA and Europe. I led the development of brand voice and in-house copywriting projects for Evolved By Nature, a green chemistry company, as well as its skincare brand, Silk Therapeutics.
Core responsibilities included crafting strategic, engaging copy for email marketing, e-commerce, social media, product packaging, public relations, white papers, investor decks, style guides and more. To ensure cohesion across all branded materials, I closely collaborated with designers and digital content producers, supervised and edited external projects from agency and freelance partners, and provided additional proofreading and editing services as needed.

In this fast-paced combined role at a rapidly growing natural foods startup, I led both communications and business development strategy and delivery.
As the lead writer and editor for all branded communications, I developed and executed content for e-commerce, digital marketing, social media, investment campaigns, blog posts, print advertising, product packaging and more. I was responsible for managing the company’s external PR team, line managing the communications intern and collaborating closely with designers and visual content producers to construct cohesive campaigns. I also secured listings with national retailers and health food stores and coordinated strategic promotional efforts to increase sales at key accounts.
