Missives From Quarantine

Missives From Quarantine was a submission-based digital collage / passion project. Inspired by Miranda July and Harrell Fletcher’s mid-2000s public art collaboration, Learning To Love You More, my design partner and I launched it in an effort to foster connection, empathy and creativity amidst a very surreal and isolated cultural landscape.

At the risk of sounding like a faux-heartwarming quarantine car commercial (you know the ones I’m talking about), we’re all doing this thing together. And at the end of the day, simply existing as a living, breathing person—alive and navigating this world—is a courageous act of art, in and of itself. So let’s make some cool shit. Let’s love each other from afar. And together, let’s pull back the curtain on our innate, hidden-in-plain-sight creativity. The living, breathing, shimmering, shapeshifting, ever-expanding one. The one that lives within us all.

This project is now archived. Many thanks to all who joined us.
